The SerenitySpring mattress includes 8″ of pocketed coils made from recycled steel and one 3″ layer of natural latex. It’s designed to be both comfortable and durable. We wanted to create an organic mattress option that was more affordable without sacrificing the benefits of customization. Like our Serenity and Tranquility mattresses, the SerenitySpring allows you to choose between Soft, Medium, and Firm layers of Dunlop or Talalay latex.
What sets this mattress apart though is the choice between Plush and Firm pocketed coil units. Split pocketed coils in Queen, King and CA King allow you and your partner to have individual configurations, catering to your specific needs. The SerenitySpring is covered in our certified organic mattress casing, with organic cotton and organic wool batting, a natural flame barrier that promotes a cool sleep.

Allowing returns would require us to spray our products with chemicals in order to “clean” and resell them, harming the purity of our natural materials. The SerenitySpring can be customized for your body by combining Soft, Medium, or Firm Dunlop or Talalay natural latex with Plush or Firm pocketed-coil springs. For example:
Talalay is known for its responsiveness, as well as its luxurious cradling feel. If you’re on the petite side, this pairing of Soft Talalay and Plush springs may be the perfect configuration for you.
Here, the slightly denser Soft Dunlop and Plush springs creates a slightly firmer feel than the Soft Talalay over Plush springs. This may be ideal for adults seeking a soft mattress that “gives.”
If you’re a stomach sleeper or a back sleeper who enjoys a firm mattress, consider combining either a Medium or Firm layer of latex with Firm pocketed coils.

Natural Latex
True natural latex, without synthetic latex or fillers blended in, is simply natural foam rubber. We offer two different types of natural latex: Dunlop and Talalay. Dunlop is denser and more supportive. Talalay offers softness and gentle pressure-relief. (Learn more about Dunlop and Talalay here.)
Our natural Dunlop latex is certified organic in two ways. The rubber tree plantations are certified organic according to USDA standards, and its processing is certified organic to the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS).
Our natural Talalay latex has been certified as Cradle to Cradle GOLD, a measure of its health impact, level of material re-use, water stewardship, and social fairness. The latex is sourced from rubber tree plantations that adhere to sustainable forestry practices.
Certified organic wool
You’ll never find chemical flame retardants in our organic mattresses. Instead, we use GOTS-certified organic wool batting as a natural flame barrier. Wool also regulates temperature by promoting airflow, so it will not cause you to feel overheated at night.
Certified organic cotton
We stay away from cotton treated with pesticides since this is harmful to our bodies and the planet. Our mattress casings are made of unbleached, GOTS-certified organic cotton. When you see that GOTS logo, it means that material or overall product has met the most rigorous organic standard worldwide.
Individually-encased (“pocketed”) springs
Offering a more personalized feel, these springs contour to the body in a way traditional mattress springs cannot. Encased in a natural vegetable-based fabric, these springs add natural responsiveness and customized comfort.
